Martin qualified from Leeds University in 1981, moving into General Practice in Barnsley in 1985. His clinical interest is chronic pain management and he has written several articles regarding pain relief.

 

Martin chairs the Royal College of General Practitioners Pain Management group and sits on the Chronic Pain Policy Coalition.
