Vice Chair
Prior to retirement, Michael managed the disciplinary work for the Solicitors to the General Medical and General Dental Councils. Since then he has been an elected lay member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council's Professional Conduct Committee as well as being a lay member of the Department of Health's Critical Care Forum.
He provided both written and oral evidence to the Shipman Inquiry and has previously been a member of the Retained Organs Commission.
