The Patients Association responds to a range of consultations that directly and indirectly effect patients and the health care they receive. By responding to consultations we are able to:
- Provide organisations with the widest source of information possible and improve the quality of decisions reached
- Alert policy makers to any concerns and issues not picked up
- Help to monitor existing policy by letting organisations know whether or not changes are needed
