Kieran decided to explore his interest in health policy and patient advocacy after finishing Medical School in 2008. His work at the Patients Association focuses on healthcare associated infections and patient safety in general. Kieran also has a BSc in Healthcare Ethics & Law-his dissertation considered the issue of conscientious objection for healthcare professionals. Kieran has experience of primary healthcare research and policy development and is passionate about translating the patient voice into genuine quality improvement for patients.
