Support the PA

To maintain its independence, the Patients Association does not receive any core funding from government.

As a small charity, we are extremely grateful to receive any form of support. We rely on individual membership, corporate sponsorship, donations and projects to fund our work.

Individual members are a vital part of the Patients Association’s work. They are regularly asked, confidentially and anonymously, to contribute their opinions and experiences of healthcare through our ‘Taking the Pulse Surveys’. They also help us in our information campaigns to get patients better informed about their rights, their choices and the realities of healthcare policies. For more information about membership, please click here.

We are also grateful to receive donations of any size. You can contribute any sum that you feel able to by clicking on the donate button below.

Please note: all payments are made securely through PayPal but you do not need a PayPal account. If you are having problems making a payment, please click here.

Other ways to support the PA

There are many other ways to support the Patients Association and we would be extremely grateful if you could consider doing any of the following:

  • Tell family and friends about the Patients Association and the work we are doing. The more people that are aware of the PA and aware of the issues we are campaigning on, the more we can press for real change.
  • Join us as an E-member for free to receive our weekly news round-up. To sign-up, please click here.
  • E-membership is another vital part of ensuring that patients are more informed about their healthcare and the policies that affect them.
  • Consider contributing an account of your patient experience for our bank of evidence about the way people are being treated.

It is vital that the PA builds up a body of confidential, anonymous evidence to show policy makers and regulators the patient’s perspective on Healthcare. You can do this by writing to the address on the left or emailing: helpline@patients-association.com
